Unraveled

This collection was inspired by a feeling that most people cannot express easily. I choose these big old trees like banayan trees, fig trees, and abandoned houses wrapped with trees to represent that feeling of suffocation. Nature tends to make someone feel free but also that feeling of being lost in a dense forest. These images translate into my designs with asymmetrical silhouettes and fabrics like heavy wool and denim which portray the feeling of being suffocated, drowning, and/or being pulled down.
